Cultural Terrorism and the Sexual Revolution
It would be safe to say that everybody reading this article is familiar with the concept of terrorism. But what about the concept of cultural terrorism? Is there such a thing and if so, does it explain some of the strange things which are occurring across the Western world?
Before I introduce you to the term “cultural terrorism” I need to introduce you to a man named Georg Lukacs (also known as Gyorgy Lukacs). Lukacs (who lived from 1885 to 1971) was a Hungarian Marxist philosopher, writer, and literary critic who influenced the mainstream of European communist thought during the first half of the 20th century. Lukacs was of Jewish descent but, sadly, committed his life to Marxist and Communist ideology. Before we continue, it is helpful to establish what I mean when I use the term “ideology”. At its core, ideology is an error of a religious nature. It pretends to have a complete explanation of reality and the means of “salvation” from it. However, we know that within the ideological framework of Communism and Marxism, their version of salvation cannot come until Christianity is destroyed. You see, Lukacs believed that Western culture and Christianity in particular had so blinded the working class that the introduction of Marxist philosophy was impossible until both were destroyed. So, it was during his time as Deputy Commissar for Culture and Education in the short-lived Soviet Hungarian government that he proclaimed a program of “cultural terrorism.” The premise behind this movement was based on a simple, but pointed, question: “Who will save us from Western civilisation?”
One of the key goals of cultural terrorism was to develop sexual education courses in schools that would work to distort traditional sexual morals. Lukacs came to the conclusion that if sexual morals in Christians could be compromised and undermined when they were children, then Christianity itself could be destroyed, leading to the collapse of Western civilisation and with it, any opposition to Marxist indoctrination. He sought to accomplish this by highly criticising Christian sexual moral values in the classroom, while simultaneously promoting sexual promiscuity. So, in the school curriculum, children learned about the seeming backwardness of monogamy and the reactionary nature of religion, which supposedly deprives man of natural pleasures. Children were also persuaded to rebel against parental and ecclesiastical authority and to ignore traditional morality. Lukacs’ goal was laid bare in this chilling quote: “I saw the revolutionary destruction of society as the one and only solution. A worldwide overturning of values cannot take place without the annihilation of the old values and the creation of new ones by the revolutionaries."
When a young Marxist intellectual named Max Horkheimer took over the Institute for Social Research based in Frankfurt, Germany (usually known as “The Frankfurt School”), he relied heavily on the works of Georg Lukacs. Along with Theodor Adorno, Erich Fromm and Herbert Marcuse, the Frankfurt School developed a framework which became central to the sexual revolution which swept the world after World War II. You see, a major tenet of the Frankfurt School’s philosophy was the sinister belief that unrestrained sex could be a useful and devastating instrument if prompted to run rampant. So, they promoted compulsory promiscuity, one-parent households, premarital sex and homosexuality, all which essentially struck at the heart of the core values of Western society. To repel opposition, anyone who criticised them was branded a fascist and an accomplice of capitalist depravity.
In 1955, Herbert Marcuse published a book which he titled Eros and Civilisation. The book called for “polymorphous perversity”, a concept crafted by Sigmund Freud. It posed the idea of sexual pleasure outside the traditional norms and it would become very influential in shaping the sexual revolution of the 1960’s. Marcuse was very calculated in sowing the seed of sexual immorality throughout the Western world. He knew that a sexual revolution would not find its origins in the working class but through a coalition of minority groups which would become the untouchable class under the umbrella of political correctness. Once their co-operation and their safety was guaranteed under this umbrella, it would be time to spread the message and what better place to foment these new ideas than liberal-minded university campuses.
Although many people may be tempted to believe that the worst of the sexual revolution is behind us, the sobering reality is that revolutionaries want to take more ground. Herbert Marcuse hoped that the sexual revolution could “eroticise previously tabooed zones, times, and relations”. In other words, his ultimate goal was not just to introduce education to children on the subject of sexuality, but to encourage them to engage in it. This was a view shared by the perverted mind of Alfred Kinsey who thought that the distinction between infantile and adult sexuality would disappear in a truly non-oppressive society.
Sex education in schools is supposedly used as way of halting unwanted pregnancies, preventing abuse and stopping the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. However, for those who hold fast to the Marxist principles of sexual revolution, their ultimate goal is for public institutions to normalise the treatment of children as sexual beings. In turn, their hope is that this will shape the actions and attitudes of children in a way which opens them up to perverse sexual practices prior to adulthood.
This “revolution” has been underway for over 100 years now and shows no signs of slowing. In fact, some parents have made the mistake of believing that spaces dedicated to children (eg. schools, children’s television shows, movies and social media sites) have remained morally neutral. It is now clear that although we viewed certain spaces as morally neutral, perverted minds simply saw them as the next hunting ground. May God raise up parents, pastors, politicians and people who have the moral courage to expose and push back against this agenda.
